Using Aquatics for Warrior Rehabilitation,” led by Cory Keirn, DPT, OCS, CSCS, will take place Wednesday, June 29, from 1 to 2 pm EDT.

During the webinar, Keirn—head physical therapist for aquatics at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, Fla—will present an overview of the aquatic therapy methods he uses for postsurgical patients who require rehab after total knee and hip arthroplasties, as well as those with traumatic brain injuries, multiple orthopedic injuries, blast injuries, and concussions.

In addition, Kiern will illustrate the training exercises he finds most effective for his veteran and active duty military clientele, and will conclude with a discussion of two case studies of military veterans who participated in aquatic therapy.
