CORA Health Services Inc, an operator of outpatient physical therapy services, announces it has expanded into three new states: Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia.

CORA, a portfolio company of Gryphon Investors, entered the Tennessee and Kentucky physical therapy markets via its acquisition of Champion Physical Therapy, which has 15 locations in both states.

The provider will establish a presence in Virginia through its acquisition of Professional Therapies of Roanoke, which has seven locations in the area, according to a media release from CORA.

“We are delighted to welcome these new companies, whose top quality clinics and therapists will expand our geographic reach and augment our existing services,” says Dennis Smith, CEO of CORA Health Services Inc, in the release. “CORA will continue to pursue growth while adhering to its goal of delivering personalized care with respect and consideration for our patients’ needs.”

The recent acquisitions of West Rehab & Sports Medicine and Accent Physical Therapy enhance CORA’s existing presence in Georgia and North and South Carolina.

With these acquisitions, CORA now has more than 160 clinic locations in seven states, the release adds.
