WebPT Inc announces the appointment of Nancy Ham as chief executive officer. She replaces Paul Winady, who served as CEO from 2010 to 2016.

“WebPT is scaling its business dramatically. It has grown its revenue more than 35 percent annually in the last 2 years,” says Chelsea Stoner, WebPT board member and general partner at Battery Ventures, which invested in WebPT in 2014, per the release. “Nancy is the right executive to take the company to the next level, and we are very excited to have her on board.”

“WebPT is a special company — from its vibrant culture to its passion for helping therapists achieve greatness in practice. It’s an honor to join Chelsea, Heidi and the entire WebPT team; I look forward to helping the company expand upon and accelerate its impressive growth,” Ham states.

Prior to this position, Ham was CEO of Healthagen Population Solutions, an Aetna Company, where she oversaw a suite of acquired and startup technology businesses. Before that, she was president, CEO, and director at MedVentive; president of Sentillion; and president of medical claims clearinghouse ProxyMed.

In 2016, she was recognized as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Health IT: Thought Leaders by HealthData Management, according to a media release from Phoenix-based WebPT Inc.

Ham earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University and a master’s in International Business Studies (MIBS) from the University of South Carolina.

“As WebPT’s path of success continues into our next phase of expansion, I am thrilled to welcome a high-caliber executive who not only has extensive experience in healthcare technology, but also shares our company’s commitment to conscious leadership,” shares Dr Heidi Jannenga, co-founder and president of WebPT, in the release.
