A 1-hour webcast presented by HydroWorx will focus on the use of aquatic therapy for shoulder rehabilitation. According to a HydroWorx news release, the webinar, titled, “The Power of Water-Aquatic Rehab for Progression of Shoulder Injuries,” will emphasize the progression of an aquatic program for clients with different shoulder diagnoses such as tendinitis, impingement, postop RTC repair, and postop replacement.

The educational webinar will also feature the uses of various equipment, including aquatic gloves, buoyant equipment, mask and snorkel, and the underwater treadmill. The HydroWorx news release indicates that treatment options will be provided for the following positioning: standing, prone, and supine.

The webcast will be broadcast live from the from the HydroWorx 500 Series pool at Essex Aquatic & Rehab Center in Essex Junction, VT. The online event will be Thursday, August 28, from 1 to 2 pm, EDT, and will be presented by Veronica Paquette, PT. Paquette is the owner of Essex Aquatic & Rehab Center.

The HydroWorx news release notes that one CEU is available for Athletic Trainers through BOC. All other certificates will be available by petitioning for CEUs.
