North American Seminars offers a continuing education course on integrating Pilates into a rehabilitation program.

The course, available for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, is designed to blend home study training from a DVD with online access to face-to-face instruction and hands-on lab sessions.

The Pilates principles for orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patients will be presented during the online course, and will be reinforced with a 1-day hands-on training session supported with lecture that will take place September 16 at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ.

Participants who register for the course will receive a comprehensive manual containing information on the evidence-based practice of Pilates in rehabilitation, as well as a DVD that will explain more than 80 Pilates techniques and exercises.

Tuition is $399, and up to 7 live and 10 home study CME credits will be available.
