A series of courses for physical and occupational therapists who work with adolescents who toe walk is available online from Education Resources Inc.

Three courses are available, all led by instructor Liesa Persaud, PT, DPT, PCS, CKTP, and illustrated via case studies, demonstrations, extensive directed lab practice, and lecture.

During the course, participants will enhance their differential diagnosis skills to guide more effective treatments; learn new tools to address the sensory and motor aspects that underlie toe-walking, and recognize red flags to help determine the appropriate professional for referral, per a media release from Education Resources Inc.

Seven contact hours (.7 CEUs) are available for those who complete the course.

Persaud is the lead physical therapist at Tulsa Sunshine Center in Oklahoma, and is also the owner of Know to Change, a private practice in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She is also a Credentialed Clinical Instructor and also teaches human anatomy, physiology and nutrition at Tulsa Community College, per the release.
