CBD College, a Los Angeles-based medical career college, has announced its plans to launch a new physical therapist assistant (PTA) program via LAD Solutions in April 2014. The opening for enrollment is scheduled to start in late April. A news release from CBD College indicates that the associate degree program will offer state-of-the-art laboratory facilities as well as hands-on experience to ensure the student is prepared for the challenges of a career as a PTA.
According to the CBD College news release, the new program will provide students with classroom lecture and theory as well as lab practice and experience in the clinical environment. The degree awarded to students will be an Associate of Applied Science degree. The program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in preparation for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) as well as California Law Examination (CLE), according to CBD College.
The CBD College news release notes that with enrollment beginning in April, the staff and faculty welcome all qualified applicants, and the college has financial aid options available and help with job placement after graduation.
