Athletico Physical Therapy celebrates National Athletic Training Month (NATM) in March by raising awareness of athletic trainers and showcasing their value.

This year’s NATM is themed “A Safer Approach to Work, Life, and Sport,” and Oak Brook, Ill-based Athletico has been celebrating via fund-raising events and public education programs such as an Athletic Trainer of the Year award, a charity sled hockey game, an employee jeans day fund-raiser at all Athletico clinics, and a raffle, according to a media release from Athletico.

“We want to recognize the vital role athletic trainers play in everyday life,” explains Mark Kaufman, president and founder of Athletico Physical Therapy, in the release. “From hospitals to corporations to sports fields, these healthcare professionals dedicate their lives to improving the health and well-being of society.”

Per the release, NATM celebrates athletic trainers in the industrial, clinical, and sports settings.
