Susan L. Pender, MPT, has named new clinical director and senior physical therapist for Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Georgetown, Delaware location. According to a news release from Tidewater Physical Therapy, Pender comes to Tidewater Physical Therapy with more than 20 years experience in the physical therapy field. She has served as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1992.

The release notes Pender completed her undergraduate degree in biology from Hood College in Frederick, MD, in 1992 and her Master of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University Winchester, Va in 1995.

Jennifer Walter, COO, Tidewater Physical Therapy, articulates the organization’s excitement in having “someone of Susan’s experience and level of education leading our Georgetown clinic. Susan is dedicated to educating her patients on their condition and the prescribed treatment plan.”

The release adds that in her new role, Pender will provide quality, comprehensive rehabilitation services. Pender’s interests include musculoskeletal dysfunction and headaches, orthopedics, geriatrics, manual therapy, vestibular disorders, lymphedema, and Parkinson’s disease.
