ProEx Physical Therapy staff physical therapists Stephanie Novello, DPT, Jessica McManus, PT, and Gino Compagnone, DPT, recently gave presentations during the Massachusetts American Physical Therapy Association’s annual conference in Norwood, Mass, on November 5.

Novello presented a case of a patient with neck pain due to Lyme disease.

McManus and Compagnone presented “Neurophysiology of Pain Education for Patients with Chronic Low Back Pain,” which included the key concepts of the biological process of pain and how this can be taught to patients with chronic pain, according to a media release from Portsmouth, NH-based ProEx Physical Therapy.
