Professional Physical Therapy opens its 150th and 151st locations—in New York and New Jersey, respectively. Its affiliate, ProEx Physical Therapy, expands further into New England with its acquisition of Physical Therapy in Motion.

The new Professional Physical Therapy facilities are located in New Rochelle, NY and Westfield, NJ.

Clinical Director Melanie Strassberg will lead the New Rochelle location, and Clinical Director Brian Stinton will lead the Westfield, NJ location, according to a news release.

“As the organization surpasses 150 clinics and continues to grow, we always remain true to our core mission, which is to ensure that every patient has an exceptional experience, from the minute they make an appointment, until their last treatment. This is our commitment to our patients, and we never take for granted their trust in our care,” states Adam Elberg, founding partner, president and chief executive officer of Professional Physical Therapy, in the release.

ProEx Physical Therapy, an affiliate of Professional Physical Therapy, now includes 24 clinics with its recent acquisition of Physical Therapy in Motion, with two new locations on Cape Cod, Mass.

Physical Therapy in Motion’s former owners, Eileen Cullen Weber and Michael D. Weber, will join the ProEx team as clinical directors of the Centerville and South Yarmouth locations, respectively, notes a separate news release.

“The Cape is a great vacation community that has become the permanent home for an increasing population, and Mike and Eileen have done a wonderful job building a top notch practice,” says Michael Mulrenan, president of ProEx Physical Therapy, in the release.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to expand our services on the Cape, and look forward to helping our new patients achieve their goals, and get back to their life in action.”
