Evidence in Motion (EIM) has announced a definitive agreement with the International Spine and Pain Institute (ISPI) to become “part of the EIM family.” ISPI offers educational programs for physical therapists related to pain, spinal disorders, orthopedics, and neuroscience.

An EIM news release reports that ISPI co-owner and CEO, Adriaan Louw, PT, PhD, CSMT, and co-owner and COO, Colleen Louw, PT, PhD, CSMT, will remain integrally involved and continue to operate under the ISPI brand.

In the release John Childs, PT, PhD, EIM CEO, notes that EIM has “admired what ISPI has been doing to come alongside rehabilitation professionals to truly transform the management of pain throughout the United States. It is with that spirit that we reached out to form this new partnership.”

ISPI will collaborate with EIM’s clinical certifications, residencies, fellowship, and continuing education curriculum, offering their extensive pain sciences curriculum. The release states that the partnership will also allow ISPI to expand their internal clinical education and research activities.

Louw adds, “We have recently embarked on a mission to transform pain management in the United States via physical therapists. The partnership with EIM will provide us the necessary resources to soar to new heights in a way that would otherwise take us many years.”

According to the release, ISPI staff and faculty will continue to provide high-level teaching experiences under the ISPI brand, but with the collaboration and support of EIM.
