ATI Physical Therapy announces that it has expanded into the state of Massachusetts by acquiring Sports & Physical Therapy Associates (SPTA) and Attain Therapy + Fitness.
With this acquisition, privately ATI Physical Therapy, based in Bolingbrook, Ill, now has more than 500 physical therapy practice locations in 17 states, explains a media release from ATI Physical Therapy.
“Our expansion into the state of Massachusetts with these two well-respected practices reinforces our service commitment to the industry and our role as a leader in physical therapy,” says Dylan Bates, CEO of ATI Physical Therapy, in the release.

SPTA focuses on injury detection, postinjury rehabilitation, and sports-specific training. Attain Therapy + Fitness specializes in physical therapy, specialized hand therapy, sports and fitness training, and other programs for at-risk populations, the release explains.
