As part of National Physical Therapy Month (NPTM) 2016, AlterG announces its third annual National Physical Therapist of the Month Contest to recognize PTs and to raise awareness of the benefits of physical therapy and pain management.

NPTM 2016 focuses on the American Physical Therapy Association’s national campaign, #ChoosePT, to help raise the public’s awareness about the risks of opioid use and to spread the word that physical therapy is a safe, non-opioid alternative for managing pain, according to a media release from AlterG.

In recognition of the work of physical therapists, AlterG invites physical therapy patients to nominate physical therapists and submit their stories to share how these particular PTs went above and beyond and helped them on their journey to wellness.

Nominations are due by Friday, October 28, and the winner will be announced the first week of November. All entrants will receive an AlterG water bottle. The winning physical therapist will receive a pack of AlterG shorts and a backpack with AlterG gear. The winning nominating patient will receive a pair of AlterG Performance Shorts, and backpack with AlterG gear, according to the release.
