Evidence in Motion (EIM), a physical therapy continuing education and consultation company, has announced its official partnership with E & A Therapy, Inc. According to an EIM news release, Allegheny & Chesapeake Physical Therapy, Inc, will become a Network Partner with EIM for their 10 clinic locations throughout Pennsylvania. Allegheny & Chesapeake Physical Therapy will serve as a training location for EIM’s clinical residencies, fellowship, and traditional continuing education curriculum.

The new partnership will also allow Allegheny & Chesapeake Physical Therapy to expend their internal clinical education and research activities. The EIM news release notes that several of the offerings included in the Residency and Fellowship curricula will be made available to other Allegheny & Chesapeake Physical Therapy, Inc. staff, enhancing lifelong learning and quality improvement initiatives for many of their professional personnel.

The EIM news release indicates that the company aims to transform the way physical therapists are trained and educated. EIM’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency, Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, Postprofessional DPT in Musculoskeletal Management, and Manual Physical Therapy Certification training programs are delivered to the physical therapist, where they live and work, through web-based educational “distance learning” platforms.

In addition, online learning is complimented by a thorough mentoring program and on-site weekend intensives conducted at Network Partner locations throughout the United States. A number of EIM’s faculty members are recognized internationally for their contributions to research, education, and clinical practice, as indicated on the EIM news release.

Faculty members have also received more than 95 research grants and have founded over 40 different business organizations and held appointed positions in more than 40 state and more than 115 national and international professional associations.
