Since launching in 2016, the MotionMD software solution from DJO Global Inc has processed more than 1 million patient agreements, according to the company.

“One million patient agreements processed through our MotionMD system solidifies DJO’s leadership position in the Healthcare Solutions market,” says Mike Peters, DJO’s executive vice president and chief information officer, in a media release.

“This is a clear indicator that partners and patients prefer a more efficient process for treatment and care. Orthopedic practices can rely on our technology to improve the way they do business while enhancing the patient experience.”

MotionMD is an intuitive, web-based, point-of-care software solution designed to support claims management and inventory dispensing, and to integrate with electronic medical records (EMR), electronic ordering, billing, and practice management systems.

The DME software (SaaS) has also received The Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST CSF) certification, which signifies compliance with certain healthcare standards by providing a secure and protected platform for sensitive and private healthcare patient information, per the release.

“Our MotionMD team continues to deliver compelling results by creating a more efficient way for our partners to deliver care and run their business,” states Steve Ingel, DJO’s executive vice president of healthcare solutions. “The rate of adoption we are seeing with MotionMD is solid proof that the future of the orthopedic device industry depends on our ability to provide tools that deliver the best products in the easiest way possible.”
