Align Networks, a One Call Care Management business unit and provider of workers’ compensation physical medicine programs, has announced that Kim Radcliffe, PT, MHA, has been promoted to president of the business unit. Align Networks manages a specialized workers’ compensation provider network of outpatient rehabilitation facilities throughout the United States. According to an Align Networks news release, Radcliffe most recently served as vice president of operations and has been with Align Networks since 2006.

The Align Networks news release notes that Radcliffe is credited with the creation, development, and evolution of the company’s clinical review program, which is a clinical oversight program that monitors quality of care, treatment patterns, utilization, and appropriateness of care. The clinical review process and program provides a reduction in overall utilization by 20% to 30% nationwide.

Radcliffe’s 17 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, as well as her leadership roles in patient rehabilitation, enabled her to utilize best practices and evidence-based medicine to enhance the Gold Standard Review program and to guide overall excellence in operations, as indicated on the Align Networks news release.

Dave Olson, co-chief operating officer of One Call Care Management, says, “Kim’s successful tenure with the clinical and operations of Align Networks made her the clear choice to lead the business unit.” Olson adds, “Align is recognized in the industry for excellence in customer service and clinical oversight. Kim has been essential in elevating us to this level.”

Radcliffe states, “My vision for Align Networks is to lead this clinically based business unit toward efficient claims management with excellent clinical outcomes and visit utilization. Our methodology of peer-to-peer communication and collaboration for continuous improvement is key to providing quality clinical outcomes while monitoring costs for our customers.”
