The 2014 California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) Annual Conference will be in Oakland, Calif, from October 24 to 25. A CPTA news release invites physical therapy professionals to join more than 1,100 physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to exchange best practices and establish new strategies that will help elevate the profession of physical therapy.

According to the CPTA news release, the 2014 conference will feature 2 days of educational programming with more than 48 panels, sessions, and roundtable discussions on the latest physical therapy best practices and tools taught by industry experts. The tracks will cover some timely topics in physical therapy including pelvic health, new technology, innovative healthcare models, direct access, and more.

Attendees can network with other physical therapy professionals in the “Get Connected Lounge” in the Exhibit Hall or join over 250 physical therapists and assistants at the CAL-PT-FUND Beer & Wine Garden and CAL-PT-PAC Dinner.

The CPTA news release also indicates that the Annual Conference Exhibit Hall will showcase the latest platforms, products, and services that are helping to drive healthcare innovation and cost reduction.
