The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is accepting nominations for the 2014 State Legislative Leadership Award. The State Legislative Leadership Award is the association’s annual recognition of an individual member who has provided outstanding service and leadership on behalf of a component’s legislative efforts, according to an APTA news release.
The leadership award will be presented at the State Policy and Payment Forum in Seattle, Wash, which will be September 13 to 15, 2014. APTA will pay travel expenses for the selected recipient to attend the event, and the recipient will receive recognition on the APTA website in addition to its publications.
