Kelvyn Cullimore, chairman, president, and CEO of Dynatronics Corp, will step down from these roles. In addition, Erin S. Enright has been appointed chairman of the Board of Directors, effective immediately, the Salt Lake City-based company announces in a media release.

Cullimore will be replaced as chief executive officer upon appointment of a successor, which is expected by June 30, 2018. He will continue to serve as a non-employee member of the Board of Directors.

The office of president of Dynatronics Corporation will not be filled, due to a realignment of the operations, the release continues.

As part of the realignment, the company has created a Therapy Products Division, comprising the operations of Dynatronics Corporation prior to the company’s recent acquisitions of Hausmann Industries and Bird & Cronin. Brian Baker has been appointed president of the newly designated division and will report to Cullimore until a successor CEO is appointed.

“These leadership changes will clarify Dynatronics’ structure and strengthen the company’s foundation to support its growth and profitability,” Enright says in the release. “Separating the Chairman of the Board and the CEO roles will provide the appropriate governance structure to balance the Board’s independent authority to oversee the business and the CEO’s management of the business day-to-day.”

Cullimore reflects on his time with Dynatronics in the release: “It has been my distinct pleasure to serve Dynatronics since my father and I founded the company in 1979. In that time, we have positioned the company as a global leader in the rapidly developing areas of physical therapy, athletic training and orthopedics.”

“I believe the time is right to divide my responsibilities and transition to a new CEO to lead us through this next stage of growth,” he adds. “I am proud of our more than three decades of accomplishments, and look forward to continuing my contributions to the success of the company as a member of the Board of Directors.”
