The recent American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting saw the debut of Calgary, Alberta, Canada-based Fitterfirst’s newest offerings: the Extreme Balance Board Pro and Active Office Board.

ExtremeBalance

The updated Extreme Balance Board Pro now features 360-degree rotation along with front-to-back and side-to-side movement to help provide multidirectional balance and sports training in the home, fitness club, physiotherapy clinic, or commercial facility, per a media release from the company.

According to the company’s website, the board can be used to help train balance and coordination, increase proprioceptive awareness, and improve ankle and knee strength and core power.

ActiveOffice

Another recent offering from Fitterfirst, the Active Office Board, is made for office workers using sit-stand desks, with the idea of encouraging more movement in the workplace.

The board, which features adjustable foam legs, helps enable users to shift their weight, stretch their legs, and add or limit movement to suit their preferences, tasks, and abilities throughout the workday. When not used for standing, the board can also be used as a footrest, per the release.
