Bioelectronic medicine company ElectroMedical Technologies announces the WellnessPro Plus, which according to the company enhances the WellnessPro platform by expanding the pain treatment modalities available in a single device.
The portable WellnessPro platform stimulates the peripheral nerves that send information about touch and vibration. The signals from the stimulated nerves interfere with pain signals traveling to the brain, which reduces the brain’s perception of pain, and stimulate naturally occurring pain relievers, the company notes in a media release.
The device delivers pain relief via DeepPulse technology, which the Phoenix-based company suggests helps prevent accommodation, in which the body adapts to treatment.
In addition, WellnessPro Plus comes pre-programmed with more than 900 “Autocodes” that correspond with specific conditions. Also, via the StimCard, physicians have the capability to create, store, and backup personalized patient programs.
