Overland Park, Kansas-headquartered In Hand Health releases an updated version of its In Hand Health solution that enables physical therapists to create HIPAA-compliant video exercises for their patients to perform between sessions.

The update now includes a new smartphone app, called “Therapist Essentials,” to help PTs create video exercises on their smartphones and track their patients’ exercise ability between visits.

In addition, the update includes a subscription service, called “Continuing Care,” for therapists to monetize their time with patients between visits.

“PT practice owners recognize the current situation is not sustainable for their businesses over the long term in today’s healthcare landscape,” says Michael J. Gassman, president and CEO of In Hand Health, in a media release. “Our solution provides a method for breaking this cycle and ensuring quality PT care for patients and extra revenue for practices.”
