Fitbit, headquartered in San Francisco, announces the release of the free Fitbit for Windows 10 app.

Per a company news release, Fitbit for Windows 10 includes the following new features: updated live tiles that have been redesigned with more information and new notifications; quick actions to help users log and track their health and fitness activities, and to set alarms; and Cortana support that allows users to speak commands on Windows 10 devices for automatic and easier logging.

Additional features include: a notification center that consolidates the users’ important notifications and messages, enhanced syncing with Bluetooth with supported hardware, and universal design and continuum support to enable users to customize and view their data in real time, the release continues.

The app is available from the Windows Store to download to desktops and tablets, and will be available for Windows 10 mobile and Xbox One later this year. It is compatible with Fitbit’s family of products.
