Spree, a biometrics device offered by Dallas-based Spree Sports, Inc, is a new technological tool designed to measure optimal workout performance by capturing the real-time data about the user. Spree is engineered to analyze three variables in a fitness routine—heart rate, movement, and body temperature—to aid the device’s user in achieving top performance during a workout.
The manufacturer reports the new device combines the captured data into a simple graph that can provide the user with the information that will help them learn where the body is hitting its stride. An accompanying headband unit relays the real-time information to a smartphone app and allows the data to be stored in the unit for subsequent download.
