Video Analysis Software

Dartfish video analysis software captures clinical video onto the computer using a standard digital camcorder and Windows computer. The product helps discern fine nuances of movement and communicates to patients an understanding of needed corrections. Users can compare two to four videos simultaneously, superimpose one movement over another, track angles and trajectories, and use drawing tools for kinematic data such as angles, time, and distance.

Spinal Biofeedback

Metron Medical announces the Spinal Sensa, an individually programmable biofeedback device that consists of a clinical base station and a patient sensor. The sensor is programmed in the clinic to give the patient a range of motion for acceptable flexion and extension of the lumbar spine. The information collected by the sensor can be downloaded to the clinical base station to give the therapist an indication of the spinal movements and positioning of the lumbar spine during the recording period.
