Underwater Treadmill System
The AquaCiser® underwater treadmill system offered by Ferno Performance Pools is comprised of an exercise chamber, a water reservoir, and a control console. The touch-screen console allows users to set personal programs and control the water temperature, depth, treadmill-belt direction, speed, and whirlpool jets. It is used by hospitals and physical therapy clinics. Water remains in the reservoir until the patient is situated in the exercise chamber. Water depth can be adjusted from 48 inches to 4 inches, allowing patients to progress from different weight bearings. The chamber fill and drain time is 3 to 4 minutes. The variable-speed treadmill ranges from 0 to 9.9 mph and is reversible. The unit features clear doors and windows, 12 whirlpool jets, two front-workout jets, a patient-resting seat, and underwater lights.
