Web Site Service

Preferred Therapy Providers introduces the My Preferred Web Site Service, which helps promote private-practice therapy services by designing, building, hosting, and maintaining a Web site. Preferred puts together a few Web site design concepts for approval and builds the Web site by including a few pictures and a brief description of services provided. Once the Web site design is given final approval, it goes "live" on the Internet. Each site is built from the ground up. The design can be matched to brochures and other existing marketing materials. All Web sites, including slow connections, are optimized to load quickly.

For more information, contact Preferred Therapy Providers, 101 Corporate Center, 19820 N Seventh St, Suite 250, Phoenix, AZ 85024; (800) 664-5240; www.preferredtherapy.com.

Rail Unit

Rehab Concepts offers TheraSlide™, which allows patients to exercise independently with minimum initial instruction. The system has a user-friendly, easily adjustable Squeeze & Slide (patent pending) unit for positioning the level of specific exercises. Five resistances of exercise tubing with foam-covered handles, attachment clips, and ankle straps allow graded levels of strengthening of both upper and lower extremities. The Squeeze & Slide unit rotates 180° in the horizontal plane, allowing exercises to be performed within a limited space. A pulley attachment allows upper-extremity stretching. An instructional exercise poster, a tubing storage rack, powder-coated wall brackets, and installation hardware are included.

Knee Brace

BREG Inc introduces Fusion™ XT, a knee brace specifically designed to protect against injuries associated with contact sports. Fusion XT accommodates the changing axis of the knee throughout flexion and extension, enabling it to stay in place to defend the knee in every situation. Fusion XT is available for men and women. Braces for osteoarthritis patients are also available. All Fusion XT braces are available either custom-made or off the shelf.
