When the therapist is designing the initial plan of care or documenting interventions in a progress/treatment note, ReClaim cross-references the chosen intervention (CPT code) to determine whether it breaks the patient’s payor’s rules for reimbursement. If a rule is violated, the therapist is alerted with specific messages describing which interventions require a modifier or cannot be billed together on the same date, or are totally excluded.
