Prosthetic Foot

Ossur offers the Flex Foot Axia, a low-profile, maintenance-free prosthetic foot. It features guided rollover technology that boosts stability, while its multi-axial feature makes it well suited for walking on irregular terrains that can be tricky to navigate. Additional features include an integrated male pyramid, a split heel that allows deflection and ground compliance, and slots for wedges, which enable adjustable heel stiffness. Exercise System

Staymobile offers the StayMobile II™ resistive exercise system designed for individuals weighing more than 190 lbs. Safety is improved and back strain is reduced through transfer ease. Wrist Brace

Innovation Sports introduces the C. Ti. Wrist Brace, which is designed to help restore the wrist to its proper function and structure after it has been injured. It is available in both custom and off-the-shelf models. With a patent-pending, bi-axial, articulating hinge system, the brace allows for limited and controlled extension of the wrist through ulnar and radial movement. Electrode System

Medical Science Products introduces the Micro-Stim TENS unit, a product used to decrease pain and promote healing through subtle, sub-sensory currents of 0.5 Hz, 8 Hz, and 80 Hz. Primarily used for acute pain, the micro unit employs a compact, simple-to-use design that allows patients to continue their treatment at home. This dual-channel device features two pairs of electrodes with separate amplitude controls, providing precise control of impulses as well as adjustable ramp speed. The electrode’s design allows for more comfortable stimulation of muscles and is reusable up to 15 times. Its stimulation surface is larger than most electrodes, allowing for the accommodation of larger muscle groups.

Topical Skin Refrigerant

Georgia Tech Research Institute introduces Hugo, a rolling walker with a seat de-signed for easy travel for seniors. Neuromuscular Reeducation System

Suspension Walker

Folding Seat Walker

Wound Dressing

Amerx Health Care introduces AmeriGel Hydrogel Saturated Gauze Dressing. This first and only antimicrobial hydrogel reduces wound bioburden, maintains a debris-free wound, and is easy to apply. The dressing is currently available in 2 x 2-inch nonwoven four-ply pads, and is indicated for use on stage I–IV pressure ulcers, diabetic skin ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, and postsurgical wounds with dehiscence. Oakin, the primary ingredient, provides antimicrobial/antifungal properties to reduce wound bioburden and prevent/combat the leading causes of infection. It also provides aggressive autolytic debriding to assist in removing necrotic or devitalized tissue without harming granulating tissue. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has assigned AmeriGel Hydrogel Saturated Gauze Dressing HCPCS code A6231. DME providers using the code will be allowed to dispense 30 pads per wound per 30 days, with a maximum reimbursement of $140.40

Digital Display

Med-Fit offers a digital display to its HUR line of equipment, which counts repetitions and display load, and heart rate during exercise.
