Tidewater Physical Therapy has celebrated its first anniversary at its newest clinic in West Point. According to the news release from the Virginia-based physical therapy group, the West Point location was opened on March 1, 2012, and the one-year anniversary follows thousands of appointments and hundreds of hours of hands on, direct, and manual therapy.
The clinic features comprehensive orthopedic physical therapy, pediatric orthopedic physical therapy, balance and fall prevention, total joint rehabilitation, and certified hand therapy, with a special interest in pediatric hand therapy and traumatic hand injuries. Aubrey Bailey, PT, DPT, CHT, clinical director of West Point, states that it has been an honor to bring Tidewater's passion for clinical excellence to West Point.
She adds that their goal is to continue to provide "individualized care to patients of all ages to improve quality of life."
Jeff Verhoef, chief executive officer for Tidewater, says that the group's newest location has "significantly improved access and convenience for the community," as the clinic has had the opportunity to serve patients from West Point and surrounding areas. At the one-year celebration, Verhoef also expressed his thanks to the entire community for allowing the clinicians of Tidewater to make a difference in their lives.
