Scott Anderson, formerly the athletic director at Stanford University, joins SyncThink as chief customer officer. In addition, SyncThink opens a permanent office in Palo Alto, Calif.
The new-hire and new Palo Alto office are part of SyncThink’s plans to expand West through strategic hires. The office is strategically placed near Stanford University to serve as the center of the company’s customer success department, according to a media release from the company.
Before joining SyncThink permanently, Anderson—a Certified Athletic Trainer—was clinical advisor for the company and worked closely with SyncThink founder and chief science officer Jamshid Ghajar MD, PhD, in the multidisciplinary research of sport-related head injuries and the development and integration of technology to improve patient outcomes.
In addition to his expertise in the EYE-SYNC technology, he brings both clinical and management specialty to the SyncThink team as it continues to grow the applications of the EYE-SYNC technology and its customer base, the release continues.
“It is truly a pleasure to join the team at SyncThink, and to continue to progress the groundbreaking work being done by Dr Ghajar,” Anderson says, in the release. “In the 3 years I have been using the EYE-SYNC technology, I have repeatedly stated that the solution is a game changer, and I look forward to adding my experience to the team as we continue to objectively measure and improve disorientation disorders for so many. Being able to do so in my own backyard here in Palo Alto just makes it even more exciting.”
