Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) has been named the orthopedic providers for the Bo Jackson Elite Sports Center (BJES), located in Lockport, Ill.

BJES is an indoor sports training center that focuses on player development, and it includes a 94,000-square-foot athlete training facility.

“It’s an honor to be named team physicians for one of the foremost athletic training centers in the country,” says Dr Nikhil Verma, MOR sports medicine physician and director of the Division of Sports Medicine program at Rush University Medical Center, in a media release from MOR.

“We are excited to join forces with BJES coaches and trainers to educate athletes about the importance of proper biomechanics, injury prevention and good orthopedic health so they can perform at their best,” Verma adds.

“Our goal at BJES is to provide the best resources to our athletes and their families. This partnership will give our athletes the opportunity to be treated by one of the nation’s top orthopedic groups and access to MOR’s groundbreaking research and educational resources helping athletes develop a healthier approach to staying competitive,” states BJES President Jim Thompson, in the release.
