Middletown, Pa-headquartered HydroWorx offers “Aquatic Training Programs for Healthy Athletes,” a 1-hour webinar focusing on hydrotherapy as a way to help avoid overtraining and promote cross training, April 14 from 1 to 2 pm EDT.

The session will be led by Murphy Grant, MS, LAT, PES, assistant athletic director of sports medicine and head football athletic training at the University of Kansas. During the session, Grant will discuss how aquatic therapy can be used to help train athletes, including its benefits such as avoiding overtraining, injury prevention, and workout diversity.

Included in the discussion will be tips to help attendees create engaging and diverse water-based workouts; set up aquatic-based programs for successful flow of action and positive outcomes; and determine which exercises are best suited for certain types of athletes, such as football players and baseball players, according to a media release.

A question-and-answer period will follow the session.
