Drive Medical, a durable medical equipment manufacturer based in Port Washington, NY, announces in a media release that it has acquired the entire HurryCane product line from Minneapolis-based Marketing Architects.

HurryCane was introduced to the consumer market in 2011, and its product line includes the Freedom Edition and the HurryCane Go. According to the release, HurryCane products are designed to allow maximum mobility on all terrains along with continuous balance and stability.

Per the release, Drive Medical intends to market the HurryCane products to its global network of providers, distributors, and retailers.

Harvey P. Diamond, CEO of Drive, says in the release that, “HurryCane is a terrific brand with a breakthrough product that already offers security and stability to millions of customers across North America. We welcome HurryCane to the Drive family.”

Chuck Hengel, founder of the HurryCane, states in the release that, “Over the past 3 years, we’ve been able to see so many lives in the US positively impacted by the HurryCane. Now, we’re excited for Drive Medical to bring this life-changing device to people on a global scale.”
