ProEx Physical Therapy, based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, announces in a press release that Nicole McManus has been promoted to assistant director of clinical education.

“Her vast knowledge of the industry, combined with a devotion to ensuring that all employees succeed in delivering the highest caliber of care, makes her the ideal person to fill this pivotal role within our organization,” he continues.
McManus received a master’s degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University. She also completed 2 years of Manual Therapy training, and attended and served as a teaching assistant in Medical Exercise and Manual Therapy courses for the upper extremity, lower extremity and the spine, the release explains.
She joined ProEx Physical Therapy in 2006 and treats patients in the practice’s Massachusetts and New Hampshire clinics. While at ProEx, she has served in several roles—the most recent being center coordinator of clinical education (CCCE), per the release.
In in her new role, the release explains, she will continue with her CCCE duties but with the additional duty of overseeing ProEx’s internal clinical training, known as the Advanced Clinical Education program.
In her new role, the release explains, her primary focus will be to prepare clinicians as they enter the Boston University Manual Therapy Fellowship program and provide a training program for all new ProEx employees.
