Noraxon USA Inc, a provider of evidence-based biomechanics applications, has completed the flagship installation of its myoMETRICS laboratory in the Dever-based practice of Nicholas Studholme, DC, CCSP, sports medicine physician. The lab is intended to accommodate clinical and sports medicine, and features Noraxon’s FDA-approved and –patented biomechanics solutions, according to a company news release.

The release states that as a turnkey solution, the myoMETRICS lab comes with all the equipment, software, configuration, training, furnishings, and installation support intended to bring a highly functional, clinically relevant biomechanics lab online in days. Its designed as a solution to enable real-time measurement and tracking of rehabilitation and performance progress. Users can reportedly access key biomechanical indicators through data and insight, gaining a deeper understanding of each patient’s neuromuscular and kinetic chain systems.

Studholme explains in the release that when working with a variety of patients, from elite athletes to everyday runners, getting rehabilitation and treatment right is a key priority.

“That means addressing the problem in a reasonable time frame. The myoMETRICS lab is giving us great insight and real-time data that allow us to improve patient health and performance in the most efficient and effective way…” Studholme says.

Brent Perkins, Noraxon president, articulates the company’s excitement in Studholme’s results from the partnership, adding “The technology we used to bring the myoMETRICS lab to life bridges that gap between sports medicine research and clinical best practices with individualized, actionable data,” said Noraxon President Brent Perkins. “We look forward to demonstrating the value of metrics in medicine through future partnerships.”
