A seminar presented by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Learning Center will discuss post-acute care compliance for 2015. The seminar will aim to provide valuable information for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and administrative staff to improve practice and ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations. The seminar can be attended in person on November 15 in Alexandria, Va, at the APTA headquarters, or online as a virtual event. The educational seminar will also be available on demand.
According to an online course description, seminar topics include documentation to get paid for what a clinician does and minimize the risk of an audit, as well as 2015 updates to the payment policies for prospective payment systems in skilled nursing, home health, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. The seminar will also discuss information on Medicare audit activities and how to appeal denials.
