JTECH Medical, Salt Lake City, reports that it has received the renewal of its ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 alongside Canadian Medical Devices Conformity Assessment System (CMDCAS) certifications for its manufacturing facility. The company explains in a recent news release that the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 WITH CMDCAS standards encompass specific requirements that must be met by the quality management system of an organization.
These requirements include providing products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The ISO standards also target enhancement of customer contentment through effective application of the system and aim to assist in establishing a methodical approach to manage an organization’s processes to consistently turn out quality products that meet customer expectations, JTECH notes.
